Sharing your gifts
The Sevenfold Gift of the Holy Spirit poured out on us at baptism are the: Spirit of Wisdom; Spirit of Understanding; Spirit of Counsel; Spirit of Fortitude; Spirit of Knowledge; Spirit of Piety; Spirit of Holy Fear;
But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all:
We are all called to share our gifts. To make Triennial 2009 a special time in our lives together as Daughters, your gift is needed to minister to all. Please complete the form below and mail to Missy Denney. You may also respond by e-mail. You will be notified of your assignment by June 1, 2009.

National Triennial Scholarships
 The National Council has approved giving a $50 scholarship toward the Triennial registration package to each Junior and Senior daughter attending. This means that the cost each attendee will pay for the Registration Package (which covers 11 meals ( including the banquet), meeting rooms, AV set up and all other convention costs) will be:
 Seniors: $475 minus $50 scholarship = $425
Juniors with Junior meals: $225 minus $50 scholarship = $175

                               Or

Juniors with Senior meals: $400 minus $50 scholarship = $350
 

Note:  The Registration Package does not include transportation and hotel room costs.

 Attendees need to pay just the $425, $175, or $350 that applies and no other action will be needed on their part. The online and paper registration forms will spell this out for the attendees. Our accountant will do the necessary journal entries to move the appropriate funds to the Triennial accounts so that the Triennial costs covered by the scholarships may be paid promptly.

Registration Cost: Senior DOK $425.00 (with scholarship) and Junior DOK $175.00 (with scholarship) or $350 (with scholarship) for Sr meals  (Fee includes 11 meals and all convention activities.)

Extra Banquet tickets for your guests will be available for $50/person.

Room Rates: The following rates are per night
  • Single Room: $125.00 plus taxes (sleeps 1-4 persons depending on bed configuration - choice of king or two queen beds)
  • One Bedroom Suites: $175.00 plus taxes (sleeps 2-6 persons/ choice of king or two queen beds and living room with sleeper sofa)
  • Two Bedroom Suite: $225.00 plus taxes (sleeps 4-8 persons/one room has King bed, the second bedroom with choice of king or two queen beds, living room with sleeper sofa)

There are two Airports that service the area:
  • John Wayne/Orange Country Airport: Located 11 miles, approximately 20 minutes from hotel. Current cost of shuttle is $10 per person one way.
  • Los Angeles International Airport: Located 40 miles, approximately 45 minutes from hotel. Current cost of shuttle is $16 per person one way.

Note: There is a possibility that the hotel will also be offering shuttle service by 2009. There will be a cost comparable to the airport shuttles but more convenient as it takes you directly to and from the  hotel without other stops.
